Blue Angels

Tiny red ants are invading the sides of my bed. I guess I've been very sweet, really. And hey, I don't sneak in chocolates or candies and eat them on my bed. In fact, I haven't been touching chocos and candies at home.

The worst thing is, to my horror, when I open the lid of my precious laptop, I found rows of tiny red ants also! Yucks! And frankly, I don't eat chocos and candies when I use my laptop too, really =(

Went for the finals rehearsal just now. COOL!

I heard the guys' accapella and the females'. I prefer the guys' one, frankly. I'm not being biased cos I'm supporting Wei Lian but serious lah.

Then JJ very cute! He sang his duet with Wei Lian and Kelly and then did his own mini mini mini concert! Hah. First, he will sing 一千年以后 and midway through, he'll go, "Oh! Wrong song!" and then do his cd spoil sound effects and then sing 豆浆油条! Then he'll proceed to doing his own drum set sound effects! Totally BUAI TAHAN! And lastly, to present us his 编号89757 with dance! So nice!!

Oh then that's about it and I left with my new friends, Hui Jin and Zhi Jun.

By the way have you guys seen the blue angels of Wei Lian's supporters on TV? If yes, please take note that me, Wenna and Kai Ling will be part of them =x

Okay, at first I was quite relunctant. We, as the blue angels, have to wear blue halter neck blouse (did I spell "halter" correctly?), skirt, angel wings together with a star wand and a tambourine. It look sweet, really. And I'm really surprised cos I have never worn a halter neck blouse before (I admit can) cos I'm never confident about my figure. To think when I'm gonna wear that for the first time, I'm actually gonna be on TV! =X

So basically they're gonna film the 10 angels lah. I'm an angel =D

Hah. But hey, at first I didn't want to go tomorrow but when I thought of the benefits (I got to see the rehearsal today, the people from the fanclub are really really nice, there's a cute little girl who refused to open her mouth to talk to me apart from saying "Please" when I took her star wand and saying "Byebye" after umpteen tries when I have to leave, will get to sit right, yes I mean RIGHT in front of the stage! The best seats!), it was seriously very hard to reject! Besides, I have to be at the indoor stadium REAL early so that means I can see more rehearsal!

Also, Kelly fanclub people more open loh! The females are gonna wear bikini, yes, don't blink your eyes, and I mean BIKINI. The guys are gonna be topless but wearing boardshorts with flowers necklace like those worn in Hawaii, including two MUMMIES! WHY?! Cos Kelly is gonna sing 木乃伊 with JJ -.-;

So please don't laugh at me when you see me in angel suit can? =(


It's a once in a lifetime chance leh! God knows when will be the next time I'll wear such sweet clothings =X

The day before I was darn sad when I can't get tickets to the finals from Leon fanclub cos Leon requested for one more ticket from the FC cos someone else don't have a ticket.

Frankly, I cried lah.

HAHA!

Although I've got my sister's ticket, I wasn't very high about it. Cos I'd be going with an anon, someone whom I don't even know. Then even if I were there watching the LIVE thing, I can't get HIGH. Cos if I HIGH, it's zhi HIGH!

But today I'm all smileys!

I've got tickets from Wei Lian fanclub! Somemore they provide the FC tee. I'm so lucky. They're really a bunch of nice people =D

I'm so glad all these while I've been giving Wei Lian moral support. Hah. Now I feel so proud! Cos initially I was planning to wear RED (which means I support the females) cos I don't have any Comfort Blue (taxi) color tees! (Their FC tee is the approved shade of blue tee we're supposed to wear if we support the guys)

Now the problem's solved and I've got tickets too!

HORRAY!

The best thing is, I get to go to their full dress rehearsal today!

Zen Neeon

"Long time no see!" was the greeting my DB lecturer, William, gave me. *shrugs* So I admit, I was late again. My lesson starts at 9am and I reached at 10am. Despite getting a warning letter on low attendance (for DB), I skipped last tuesday's DB and yesterday's DB =X

Okay, so I left my house promptly at 9.05am just to find out that I forgot to bring my handphone. "Forget about it, just go to school" was what my heart told me. But then my mind reminded me that I have to meet Lewis to get Frog Prince episode 12, meet the PSP secretary before 2pm and meet Edward for my GDF printings..

So I went back to take lah!

I always forget to bring out my handphone. Like once a week. That partly explains why I'm always late for class.

Lazy to post up the letterhead, business card and envelope design. Susie Loo said it's nice. Hehe. I hardly get such comments okay! But she said I need to touch up with the card cos I had that logo on the front which I'm supposed to add my particulars on the front. So I'm re-doing it in hope of letting it get exhibit!

As usual, I visited tomorrow.sg when I saw this article on 235guys. It says:

He's very humourous, cute, shy and friendly! Got to know him through Cheryl. Hah. Lucky her get to work for DCP yea, she knows like a few of those hunks! LOL! But I'm so sad Danial's leaving. It's been two months (I think) since I last saw him.. Sad leh! WHOEVER CAN STILL HELP ME!! I WANT MY PRINCE CHARMING'S NUMBER!

My Prince Charming of newUrbanMale. I know he don't look very fancy or whatever, but I just think he's a sweetheart. He has cute eyes and seems like a caring boyfriend (I still don't know if he's single or attached. LOL!) Best of all, he's very blur! When he's blur, he's so darn cute =X

Okay lah. The story went like this: I was in numFlipFlop shopping for my first pair of Havainas slippers when he came to serve me and my friends. I was trying the plain white pair when I found out it doesn't suit me. Confused, Cheryl decided to help me seek help from him. Cos I was shy (serious lah) and didn't dare to talk, Cheryl told him I needed help. But as there were too many slippers and I was looking around and Cheryl and Wendy were deciding for me as well, Jason mistook them as the ones who needed help. He was like serving them until they said it was me who needed help.

He suggested that pink suits me (did he think I'm sweet-looking? *giggles*) and indeed, it matched perfectly well with my skin color. What can I say =) Needless to say, I ended up buying the pink one! HE serve me one leh! HAHA!

Messy story I know. In a nutshell, he's very cute!

Then got to make friends with him that ONE & ONLY ONE time when Cheryl and I went to Orchard. SOBS, when can I meet him again? *wonders if he still remembers me*

Leon, My Superstar!

WHEE~ I'm back with more photos of Leon!

I'm so lucky to bump into him several times yesterday =)

When the females recording end, the male contestants come out! Cos Quan Yi Feng promised us =) and then I was lucky that Leon's brother sat behind us! And that when everything ended, he contacted Leon and he came straight out to meet him! AHHH~~~~ That's my first time getting super close to him!!

And then we pestered him from the TV theatre to the carpark. I must say that he is very caring! Serious! He looks out for his fans, so sweet of him. I mean, since we hog onto him @ the carpark and that there's cars moving out since everything has ended, he actually look out for incoming cars while signing autographs! When he heard a car approaching, he'll look up and say "Hey people over there, stand closer!"

That's very sweet of him =D

Even when there were inconsiderate car drivers who just honked and then drove away, he'll stare @ the car and mumble "How can he drive like that.." OH MY GOD LAH! He's totally sweet! Also he's damn cute =)

Of cos, there were people who were looking from the canteen and because they wanna revenge, I ran away quickly! HEHE~

But the thing is, why didn't Jun Yang win? Cos those people didn't vote for him? EXACTLY.

SO why are they hurling insults @ Wei Lian?!

I'm not exactly what you would call, a fan, of Wei Lian but I admire him for his courage and his singing sometimes really make me wanna tear.

Some of my friends have very hurting insults of him too! And sometimes I get pissed by that cos I feel that they're almost trying to say the feelings I felt in his songs are fake!

AH whatever. Those people think they can just change the fact that Wei Lian is the winner among the guys just by hurling insults! Sorry, please try harder.

Somehow I don't have the feeling to blog these days. Not that I've got nothing to blog on. In fact, I've still the Photo SIG outing to blog on but I just don't feel like blogging about it. Everyday I visit this blog in hope to see random tags or frequent tags by my friends, but I never get to see them. The frequency rate of seeing a tag by my friends or by an unknown is one to zero per day. I shouldn't even have left that tagboard hanging down there. I get my fair share of readers too. But nobody tags my board. Not that I'm very particular about my tagboard, just that by tagging my board, I know someone remembers me.

I'm not the kind who keeps in touch with my besties friends in my previous schools. I'm not the kind who keeps in touch with people whom I got to know on the streets. My lack of keeping in touch with people who made my life special in the past keeps me wondering if I'm ever remembered. I wonder if in the future when I die, do my friends even remember me?

I know this is getting sad and kinda like before-death-note but I somehow feel things aren't getting right these days. I've been seeing and hearing alot. And I've shown a cheerful and the usual you-see-me-you-wanna-wack-my-face face. Somehow I feel how many people can take my words? Or should I say how many people can stand my sarcasm?

I think I should have kept quiet all these while. I mean, I shouldn't talk too much and make myself heard. Cos if one day I really stop talking, people might go "hey, are you okay?".

Alot of thoughts have been going through my mind these days. Alot of thoughts have been bothering me. What the heck is happening? I don't know. I don't know why all these thoughts are here to stay, I don't even know what type of thoughts are these. But these thoughts are making my life miserable and I've got no one to talk to.

Aiya, I really don't know what to say.

Somehow I just felt that things are getting outta hand and that something dreadful might happen. Don't ask me what. I don't know.

NDP Part 2

As promised, I'm back for more NDP photos. I know I'm pretty late, like 4 days. But it's better late than never!

Since it's Singapore's 40th birthday, people from all area came together to celebrate. There's the Tampines, Jurong, Marina South, Yishun and Padang celebrations. So there was a combination of the celebrations from all 5 places. As Marina South is not very far from the Outdoor Stadium (this I assumed from my little knowledge of the Singapore Island), we saw the aeroplanes, helicopters etc.

And I was abit sua-ku. I went like:

"Eh, look there, there's a motionless aeroplane over there (points to area), I think it's waiting to show up or somehing".

I was immediately corrected by Kai Ling.

"It's the camera man lah. Filming from a bird's eye view."
"Oh. Then wouldn't it fall? I mean, where got aeroplane can stop down there like that one -_-;"

"It's a helicopter lah."
"Oops."

I'm very dumb can!

This is the best photo of all. Don't blame me! I was very stressed! The camera my sister brought was the only sole survivor! And then there was fireworks from 3 areas loh.

Besides, I have shaky hands. Anyone in for a milkshake by me? -_-;

Immediately after the fireworks, it's the Concert by the Bay. Initially we thought we could get into the Priority Area (we mistook that priority area part) so we rushed to the left gate. But shucks. The priority area is the area where we stood waiting! OMG. Previously I ran to an empty spot right in front. But Wenna and Kai Ling went to the other end, so I had to follow them.

Hence the poor view of the superstars.

I'm lucky the camera has superb zoom.

By the way, the gorgeous baby (I mean the camera I want) only have 1x optical zoom! I told you I'm dumb. I didn't know what's the difference between digital zoom and optical zoom. So initially I thought 6.5x digital zoom meant how far it could zoom in since there wasn't anything else about zooming thingy. BUT I WAS WRONG! That baby is no longer gorgeous. I love it's functions though. But 1x optical zoom is even worst than my current camera!

But my current camera is so damaged by my elder sister. SIGHS~

If I'm given 3 wishes, I'd wish for 1) A prefect boyfriend 2) born in a rich family 3) happiness!

Erm, I think I should change the 3rd wish. I mean, by that time I'll have a perfect boyfriend and lots of $$! I'll be very happy!

So I'd rather wish for, erm, ALL THE PESTS TO DISAPPEAR!

I'm rather crappy today. I was happy yesterday, cos I finished 2 assignments. But the last assignment was hell.

Anyway, tomorrow going to Marina South again! YAY~ Initial D car decal? HERE I COMEEEEEEEE!

Also going to watch the fireworks tomorrow. HORRAY + WHEEEE~

It's still ugly no matter what

Wei Lian got in. That's good news. I felt weird too. But my heart goes out to him cos he really sings with feelings.

I bet alot of people will flood his forum saying how ugly he looks and how awful he sings again. I somehow feel that the only people who truly support him are the ones who really like him.

I admit I'm not a fanatic of the Superstars and I admit I don't vote for anyone. But I still must touch on this fact that why does so many people feel that Wei Lian don't deserve a place in the finals?

I understand that 1) he is visually handicapped 2) he hasn't been scoring very well and the fact that he's still in is cos he touches the hearts of those who voted and 3) blind superstar?

I don't sympathise him. I admire him. I admire the courage he has to stand in front and sing. I admire the courage he has when he can't even see the audience, know how they actually think about him and can't even read the messages in the forum that is specially for him. But still, he beat these odds and sang his heart out for all the matches.

Seriously, he improved alot yesterday. I was also very surprised. I couldn't believe it's him. But I get the comments from people saying that "It's okay lah. I still don't think he should get in and compete in the finals." Why? Just because he's visually handicapped?

He can't dance when it comes to the match where the superstars must perform a dance but he tried his best. And I supposed since it's a "dance" competition round, nobody will actually vote him. I seriously think that it takes him alot of courage to stand in front, sway when he can't dance, perhaps knowing that he might get laughed @ and stuff like that.

But he still stand in front and sing for us. He needs support. He needs people to guide him the way. He definitely needs alot of attention from the crews, participants etc. He knows he needs alot of help throughout the entire superstar journey. If I were him and knowing all these factors, I wouldn't have wanted to even try out for this entire thingy. But he did and he made it to the finals.

Okay, I already don't know how to continue this entire thing but I hope people out there would understand the amount of courage needed for a visually handicapped guy to stand in front and sing.

And for those who has been criticisizing him and whatever, please put yourself in his shoes. I believe if you're blind or has some illness/defects, you wouldn't like people to insult your disability too.

AH~ Whatever. I just felt like blogging these stuff. Pardon me for the dry entry.

NDP Part 1

Okay, I admit I'm not patriotic. I'm not those who goes to NDP and then yell those "I LOVE SINGAPORE" thingy and then sing the National Athem and say the pledge. In fact, I dreaded those days when I have to sing the National Athem and say the pledge every morning before going to classes.

But hey, I participated in the NDP events yesterday! Erm, I still need to admit that though I participated, I didn't really sing the National Athem and say the pledge. Neither did I yell out those "I LOVE SINGAPORE" thingy.

In fact, I was there to watch the fireworks and superstars.

Gee, this entry seems like a confession entry.

Let me cut the crap and then touch on what I really wanna say.

Yesterday was a BLAST! It was my most happening National Day so far!

And then again, this entry is yet another PHOTO INTENSIVE entry.

Reached there pretty early to accompany Wenna cos she went to collect the tickets. So we walked around. She brought my sister and I to the Food Village (I'm still pretty amazed by the fact that she led us the way there) and there was this (racing?) cars exhibition going on!

Kai Ling joined us later cos she went Sentosa in the morning. While I was on the phone with her trying to figure out where is she and to guide her the way to where we are, I ran out of words to describe my surroundings and said:

"Saw a balloon crossing the road?"

But I've got a complaint here. Basically, there ain't any difference whether you have these tickets or not. Cos the people just ran into the priority area! OMG! And I was pretty disappointed cos we were damn far from the stage!

Notice the tickets said Priority Area and if you see clearly, it indicates that Priority Area is RIGHT in front of the stage. But PUI! We were allocated like five metres away from the stage!!
