NOTE: If you think my blog's kinda unreadable cos of the font size, you can actually go to View >> Text Size >> Largest to have a better view of it. (especially for Koon Guan actually.)
There's this regular customer at my workplace who has a very adorable son. His name's Lucius and I liked him the first day I saw him.
He has fluffy cheeks, small built and a very cute voice like any typical 2 year olds. He is also very clever.
Yesterday he and his parents came again. I must admit I'm very lucky that they usually visit when I'm around :) I've seen their records and I've been serving them for quite some time already.
It's just so nice serving them. It's like I know them, they know me, they don't have to produce their member card upon renting videos and their son is so adorable.
Ya so I was saying, they came and as usual, his mum got him to greet me.
MUM: "Say hi to Shan Jie Jie."
Lucius: "Hi Shan Jie Jie."
ME: "Hi Lucius."
MUM: "Ask where is Auntie Beth."
Lucius: "Where is Auntie Beth?"
ME: "She went home already."
He is a forgetful boy or maybe he didn't believe us. He went to the counter and then check out for himself and then turned to his mum and ask where is Auntie Beth.
MUM: "Ask where is Uncle Nik."
Lucius: "Where is Uncle Nik?"
ME: "Uncle Nik left already.."
MUM: "He left?"
ME: "Ya, he resigned but he didn't told us where he was going."
MUM: "Oh."
Upon renting the videos and waiting the counter, Lucius was left walking around the shelves alone. Suddenly we heard:
Lucius: "Auntie Beth!! Look I'm here!"
All of us laughed at his cuteness and his mum told him she went home already. When transaction's done, his mum carried him and asked him to say good bye.
MUM: "Say goodbye to her"
Lucius: "Byebye. Night night."
MUM: "What's her name?"
Lucius: "What's her name?"
MUM: "Say byebye to Shan Jie Jie"
Lucius: "Bye bye Shan Jie Jie."
ME: "Bye Lucius, good night."
Upon seeing Kah How, he went like "Bye bye Uncle Nik!"
All of us burst into laughter. then his mum told him he's Uncle Hao. LOLLLLLL. Kah How is an uncle!!
He's sucha cutie. When I change a better phone, I'd take a photo of him and post it up here. Of cos I'll ask his parents for permission :)

I have something to blog about. Probably you go "chey, nothing much" after you read this entry but I'm still gonna blog about it.
It is one situation whereby if someone tells you about it, you might go "aiya, no big deal what" but when you actually encounter the same situation, your reaction might not react the way you thought you would.
One fine day I was working (as usual) and I was chatting with Kai Ling cos we happened to work at the same time. There was this hot babe, her body's hot except that her complexion is quite bad but she knows how to dress, who came over and asked me for a certain title.
I forgot what title it was but it wasn't in store, so I said we don't have it.
She and her boyfriend took the titles they wanna borrow and proceed to the counter.
The lady turned out to be a customer of Sixth Avenue and Jelita but not King Albert Park, so I got one of her cards, and register her name under the same card.
For signing up of membership, you gotta produce your IC.
You might have guessed it, she's a transexual.
I was very confused. I don't know she's a transexual cos I swear her IC photo don't look any bit like her. Her IC photo is of a guy who is chubby (as judged from the face).
Besides, she didn't have an Adam's Apple, had boobs that are fairly large, and has no thingy bulging out at her sensitive area, but she had a deep voice. That's all. (Pardon me for noticing too much)
I checked to see if she is registering under her boyfriend's name. NO, don't look like his boyfriend at all.
I finally asked: "Er.. Under who's name?"
"It's me actually", was the answer I got.
I practically freaked out inside my heart.
I was wondering if I was rude, considering the fact that I didn't recognise "her".
But I guess she would have understood cos she don't look any bit like her old self anymore.
So basically I registered her name into the computer. Then it came the gender part. "Shit.. F or M?" was the first thought that came into my mind. But I registered it under M anyway.
She gave me back the sheet she had to fill in, and when she left, I took a look at it.
She changed her name and circled gender: F.
Till now I remember her name fully; both her name on the IC and the one she wrote on the sheet.
You know, it's quite a rare situation cos usually there is little (I shall not assume there's none) to no transexual Singaporeans (or so I assume). And that customer, she is a Singaporean and I can see that the surgery was quite well done cos there don't seem to have any scar on her neck (if she did remove her Adam's Apple).
Nowadays I kinda freak out when I see a group of guys hanging out together cos I can't help but think if they're gays. Not that I despice or hate them, just that I feel weird.
Imagine that cute guy you eyed on the other day is actually gay.
The reason to why I feel such way cos I've been seeing gay blogs, gay photos and even the gay so-called clan outings photos :/
What is the world becoming?

TIGGER!
He makes me happy, really.
The sight of him makes me smile :)
Had a Tigger skin very very long time ago and it seemed too childish. I think this skin's perfect! Not that kiddish looking but elegant.
Yeah, so school has started already. Skipped school right on Tuesday cos we only have to be in school to install Macromedia 8, like 9AM to 930AM.
For today, we only had an hour's worth of lesson. It's the first week, and usually the week that has not much to learn during lessons. Guess what we did after that?
Mahjong at Theresa's crib.
I was playing well and nice, and there was this round when all my tiles are perfectly in place, just lack of one (or so I thought at that point of time) to win.
I pick a tile. OMG it's the one I'm waiting for!
I happily said: "自摸!"
Until Fai went like: "炸胡leh.."
Of cos I was praying hard it's not.
But I saw it.
5-6-8.
What the hell was that?
Sobs, just like that, I lost $9.60 for one round.
Then we finished West wind and Jing Jie had to leave.
Persuaded Teck Wei to play cos I wanna recoup my losses; I don't even have enough cash to pay Xeno.
During that second round, Teck Wei got 炸胡 also! Cos he didn't know we can't use big tiles as eye for 平胡.
Managed to recoup more than half of my losses too. I won the last round with 四台自摸.
Frankly, till now I still have the phobia of seeing wrong tiles. After that 炸胡, I was so afraid I'd make the same mistake again that I kept checking my tiles everytime I threw out a tile. Check whether it's in sequence, check whether I'm correct about what I'm waiting for, even up to the state counting the number of sticks or circles on the tiles itself.
PHOBIA.
I guess I'd stop Mahjong for a while.

Take the Lead is a very very nice and inspirational movie. The dance moves are like FWAH! The parts when the detention students mixed ballroom music and hiphop songs together to create a mixture of both dancing styles are like OMG~
Initially I thought Pierre would have thought of it. Instead, it were the students. But it's very very nice leh. Though it's genre is drama, it wasn't as dull as expected! Cos usually drama are like very slow and long-winded, hardly to no hilarious parts, Take the Lead is damn different! It made me laugh throughout, even without the aid of subtitles.
At least I didn't waste my $9.50 for a front row seat cos the seats were filling fast.
And I bought new trekkers.
The one in brown (they claimed it's gold). WOOT.
I didn't want to buy it at first, because my sister also wants the same one (I already have the same jacket, same school and same course as her.. -_-;) but it was so beautiful and attractive at the same time.
The first time I saw it at 235guys, it was love at first sight. (BTW the guy who served us was cute :P)
Didn't get the bag I wanted though.
I wanted the white and black one. But it was out of stock :(
I left my name and the guy said next week the all whites is coming, the week after next will be all blacks, then it'll be white and black.
I don't know which one will look nicer, so I said to call me when all is here.
LOL.
Oh I almost forgot to mention I finally met Cheryl's guy when it's gonna be their 6th month anniversary soon (-_-;).
She's such a lucky girl cos her guy works at NUM (it means discount for her [and me actually]) and I got to know more NUM guys through her; like Hakim and Eric (the cute one who served me and my sister. Actually not through Cheryl, just that he knows her too :P) bah.
They're all from NYP.
Not only NUM guys are cute, they're also so friendly and sociable! I was like going back to NUM to leave my name for the bag, greeted Cheryl's guy and talked to him. It was close to closing time and me and my sister happened to be the only customer in store so they came over to talk to us too. Just happened that one guy was taking my reservation when I asked to call me when all 3 types of bags arrive and Leslie said "Then 凌晨我们就会打给你叫你起床小便". He was talking too fast and I caught no balls.
None of the NUM guys there caught any balls either.
LOL.
When he explained it, all of us felt cold wind.
Oh yah, this is for all NP kukus (like the old me), we can just flash our NP student card, or EZ-link card to enjoy 20% off all NUM footwear.
That's a hell lot of discount. My trekkers was $49.90. After discount it became $39.90.

OMG, I didn't blog for a week! That's like a record since I'm such an avid blogger.
This last week of holidays seemed more worthwhile as compared to the rest of the holidays, I had activities going on for this week, and it's all so nice.
M05 BBQ was on Thursday night, and kinda as expected, only the regulars turned up. But it was still nice :)
It took me approximately two hours and thiry minutes to get there because dear Mr Lewis said to take bus 36 from City Hall. The bus travelled to Orchard, Plaza Singapura and back to City Hall. That loop took like half an hour can. Then it travelled to Marine Parade and further down, I saw the sign which says East Coast Park.
But the signs seems to keep saying that but the bus ain't stopping anywhere familiar.
And to our horror, the bus went all the way to Changi Airport. The expressway to Changi Airport was like another twenty minutes non-stop lor. Police check before it went into the airport.
The evidence to prove that I was at Changi Airport:
And yeah, Changi Airport is where time flies. (the road is damn long)
We took taxi down to the BBQ area.
And in case you're wondering who's Lewis, here's a very decent photo of him:
That scheming smile.
It was like 9pm already and I rushed to food.
Mr Nice Guy, Sam, was helping me BBQ chicken chops!
I think Jing Jie loves BBQ-ing marshmallows.
Look at that smile.
Actually he was BBQ-ing that for me :P
When Kai Ling came after work, the three of us took photos.
Here's the best photo:
KIDDING.
Wenna was actually presenting the 毛毛 handphone strap to Kai Ling as she bought it for the three of us.
MUACKS.
(I'm so chubby)
Two lovebirds.
:P
Didn't want to night cycle cos I had work the next day but was tempted by it lah, since it's been a long time when we had times like that.
Cycled the path which I think was the path to Changi Airport.
I was right, really. But we had to cycle through ECP.
No cycling in expressway, but we just went.
It was darn adventurous. We cycled at the road shoulder, crossing intersect roads one by one and had tons of fun.
But we were stopped by this EMAS don't know what cos he said it was dangerous.
Luckily it wasn't Traffic Police. Else all of us will get free coffee liao.
Kai Ling called her brother and asked how did he and his friends cycled to Changi the other time and he said it was the other way :( So we cycled the other way.
Wei Ming's bicycle broke down at Sparkc Camp area.
After about 45 minutes, the bicycle was repaired and we resumed journey. It was sooooooo far.
When we finally saw the road to Changi Airport, it was like Road Of infinity CAN. We cycled what seemed like hours and we haven't reach Changi Village. We saw the terminals though.
Kai Ling and I were like freaking tired and Sam pulled our bike along as he cycled too. I felt like wind! It was very tough for him but he said he wanna train up abit for NS. GOOD. Hah. I wondered where he got all that stamina. I was like dying and slowing down SO much.
Didn't managed to cycle to Changi Village lah, it was tooooo far.
Oh and did I mention I got Disney Badges from 7-11 cos we purchased stuff from there?
I'm like addicted to it! I wanna collect all!
My first one was Pumbaa. Cute fellow. Then I got Pooh and Pumba again. And when we need to buy stuff from 7-11 again, guess what I got?
Tigger!!!!!
I was like head over heels lah! Very very very very happy!
My prized badge :)
I gave Pooh to Sam though, cos he wanted to give his special someone.
Oh I guessed the coffee worked. I drank coffee for breakfast cos Sam doesn't like coffee and Wei Ming didn't know that while ordering for him. I only managed to sleep for three hours and thiry minutes instead of the planned six hours :(
Then I went to work with tired mentality.
I'm very glad I didn't make any transaction mistakes yesterday.
A glimpse of my workplace in my bedroom:
I changed chair already, cos that one was uncomfortable if I sit too long. LOL.
Not done yet cos the shelves aren't up yet and my room isn't that small if you are trying to picture it. It just don't have the usual rectangle shape.
That's my favourite workplace, I wouldn't mind spending hours in front of it and I love the wall color :)
By the way I'm getting 30+ surprises from Jia Yi this Monday!
Hah, it's cos he has 30+ Disney badges! WHEEE. He said the cashier had difficulty counting the number of badges to be given to him when he accompanied his dad to buy beer. WOOT.
MSN nicks do work. HEH.
Done with this long entry~

I wonder why do I have such painful headaches on a day which I must try not to consume Panadol pills.
It keeps occuring like two to five minutes once and it feels like somebody knock me twice on the right side of the back of my head.
It hurts so much I didn't want to go to work.
But I went anyway.
Luckily I went. Might get double pay today cos it's Good Friday.
My head hurts so much that at one point a customer rented 3 DVDs which cost $13.50. He gave me $12.50 (YES, and I KNOW it) but I went to keep the money in the cash register.
Man: "Hey I gave you $14.50 right?"
ME: "No, you gave me $12.50.."
Man: "How can it be $12.50?"
Beth: "Check again."
ME: "I confirm is $12.50."
Man: "How can it be?!"
Beth: "Nevermind, give him the change. If lack of money, you top up."
WTF!
Then Beth got Kao Hao to calculate the money in cash register.
Indeed there's a shortage of $2 :(
Lucky for me, there's enough petty cash in the drawer to top up.
Lost disc 6 IS BACK! I'm lucky sia. Left last one on the shelf :)
It still hurt so much even though I swallowed Panadol before work and Panadol Extra during work :(

Long post ahead with no photos attached cos my camera is down again :(
Came back from M01 chalet yesterday. Not really M01 chalet cos only nine turned up (that's including me), leaving seven to stay overnight for all three days.
Decided get to check in after we met up cos Jian Hao's father have to be there as it's registered under his name. While waiting, we played almost two hours of arcade! Alot of money spent, you would think. Hell no! It was free!! Jian Hao got like $150 worth of voucher for the tapcard thingy. (or so I remember)
I got to try out alot of games I wanted to try but never try! Like shooting games (okay, abit sua gu), basketball, Drums Freak (!! the drumset thingy), kids percussion etc! :D
The kids percussion thingy cheat our money. It was easy, very easy. I was so happy I got A+ and anticipating to pass many many levels when I saw "Game Over"!! Then the tickets start to roll out. One game for ten tickets (-______-;). $1.55 somemore. HAH. Ten tickets could only get me stationary but I don't need them cos I have it. Found some tickets over at Daytona corner. LOL. So we went hunting for tickets. HAHA. In the end we play hitting games and got more tickets.
Retrived Yupi Coke gummies (cos nothing else is nice) and I was opening the packet when I had this crazy yet stupid yet funny yet f*cked up thought. I was like telling them: "Imagine if I opened the packet with too much force and the contents flew all over the floor."
Of cos it didn't! I could imagine six angry faces staring at me. So much for our hardwork to get 50 tickets. The games all cheat our money. One game and that's it. No levels till we lost.
We finally got to check in when his dad arrived, then "moved" our stuff into the chalet and stone.
Hah. But the chalet was fun. There was many activities going on, although I felt bored for only a few hours for the three days. We had board game, polka cards, mahjong, laptop, dvds and PS2.
Mahjong-ed the first night. OMG, the renting of the table is expensive! $15 for a day. Nevermind, first trial mah. I was winning initially, but we had too many breaks in between (like dinner) and then that kinda "broke" my luck.
HAH. But I lost $0.10 only lah. HEEE.
PS2 was fun. Jia Yi brought the camera thingy (I don't know what's that called) in which we have to use our arms to play the game. It's like a web camera, but instead of a video conversation, you play games by "hitting" the screen. FUN. Throughout the night I watch the four guys who were playing flapping their arms, swinging here and there and then burst into laughter when the actions got funnier.
Xbox on the second day after lunch. Played SpongeBob SquarePants! Hell lot of fun! Graphics was cute (and Patrick too :)) and we were like shouting, laughing and making all sort of noise in that stuffy room (air con spoil). $6 per hour in VIP room. Very worth it. Besides, it has lots more games as compared to the one in Cineleisure (the price was more steep too).
When we completed all levels, we left the place and everyone had to just pay $3.50. That's cheap, isn't it?
Watched a very sadist show: Battle Royale. Wanted to watch BrokeBack Mountain actually but because it's drama, it's quite dull and seems tiring to watch, so we switched to Battle Royale. It's very sadist cos a class of 49 students were sent to an island to kill one another. They are given a survival kit each: food, drink and a random weapon. If you're lucky, you get guns or knives. Unlucky ones got panlid, binoculars etc.
Everyone didn't want to kill initially, but the rule is to have one survivor. If there's more than one by the end of three days, those survivors will still die.
Sadist, isn't it?
Very gore too. Rated R-15 in Japan. I think in Singapore it'll be M18 instead. I'm quite brave lah. Only screamed at the part where the chopped head was threw into the house through the window. That scene really damn disgusting! They even zoom in till the entire screen is the head :/
Heart attack was next and then we start to feel bored and play Runebound. It's a very nice game but it's tiring cos we have to wait five turns before it's our turn. All of us were shagged at that time so it was hard to endure.
Finally got to play Mahjong Pit!! FUN~ Definitely so innovative and best of all, don't have the shuffle cards! Damn exciting also. Instead of shouting "PIT!" when we got our tiles, Jian Hao shouts "Hu!"
Next morning we woke up, bathed and checked out. Play Xbox again but this time it's Shrek 2. Adventure game. NICE. Took us almost five hours to complete but we didn't finish the last level. It's so impossible to win.
Had wanted to go to Aranda Country Club for SIG BBQ but I had sore throat :/
So came back home, rotted and slept till 3pm.
I can't wait to rent Lost disc 6 tomorrow :D

I've been so lazy to blog nowadays because I'm basically just rotting at home when I'm not working.
Only went out to shop on Tuesday and bought some stuff.
The girls of M05 are busy working and we got no time to shop with each other. Still weird to shop with the guys without any girls around. LOL.
The guy with the overdued Lost disc 6 didn't return yesterday :( I was like so desperate every minute a male customer comes in and return, I hope to see Lost when I retrieve the items in the bag. But no, it never appeared.
I went to check his last transaction. Damn it, he should be a damn regular customer cos everytime Beth and Nik will allow him to borrow more than 10 titles, which the max is only 6.
I saw he had 2 sets of kid treats and 2 sets of 3 dvds :(
And they're all overdue already. If he returned yesterday, the total fines would be $32 and then waived into $16 but he didn't return.
GRR.
Nevermind about that. Recently I've been looking for my 明星三缺一 CD but I couldn't find it. Ended up finding a CD which Mr Lim had all the Japan trip photos burnt for me.
Oh yea, and I kinda miss band. Haven't seen Mr Lim for ages.
July 14 is the band concert. It's been like a year? Or more since I attended their concert! ><
And one of these days I'm gonna write an entry about my entire Japan trip with tons of photos attached :) Haven't get to blog them back then cos at that time FreeOpenDiary was the in thing and I didn't have the idea of blogging it. Still very much a computer idiot at that time. Heh.

Show you all a belly belly bad mistake I Weekly made.
Click for larger view.
In the magazine, they introduced three good food in Ngee Ann Polytechnic. There's the Canteen 1 Chicken Chop, Canteen 3 生鱼面线, Canteen 1 Ice Kachang.
They wrote the description of the Ice Kachang which can be found at Canteen 1 stall: Desert. But they belly bad. They put Canteen 3 Ice Kachang. The girls even look so happy while eating the Canteen 3 Ice Kachang in Canteen 3.
Can be seen clearly if you look carefully at the background; it shows Canteen 3.
So is it Canteen 1 or 3 Ice Kachang? If it's Canteen 1's then o_O? They bring the Ice Kachang all the way from Canteen 1 to Canteen 3 just to makan?
-_-;
Belly belly bad mistake.
