The song is just so sad can. Even if you don't like Jay Chou or don't listen to his songs, please listen to that! Makes me feel so emo everytime I listen to it. Somemore I've been repeating the song ever since LOL.

Had an impromptu meetup with Wenna and Xeno today at Vivocity. Was there cos Xeno had to get a gift for a girl he likes.. aww~

After Xeno left, me and Wenna went to shop! Saw really cute boots at Topshop!





Only $43!

But the bad side is it's not waterproof :(

I need boots for my Taiwan trip in December! Or rather, it's good to have a pair for end-of-year overseas trip since I don't get to wear it in Singapore :/

Usually bras will cost $60 minimum per piece. But this time, La Senza had sales! Buy 1 get 1 freeeeee!

WE ALL LOVE FREE GIFTS, DON'T WE?

Me and Wenna bought 3 each, which supposedly should cost us around $180, but just by paying $30 for the membership, we get everything + membership only at $150!

Don't ask me why cos the manager speaks really fast. When I say really fast, I mean REALLY fast.

It's so fast it made Wenna kan cheong and thought she was asked to key in the pin number when the manager hasn't even swipe the card. LOL.

Well, she said she's born with it. She said time passes really slow though. I said maybe it's because she talks too fast so the time spent for a transaction takes half the time it usually takes.

Anyway, I love the membership card cos it's 10% discount off! Even if there's sales, we still get 10% off! You know, some places simply allow us to use the membership card ONLY on regular priced items but not La Senza, and it comes with a booklet full of vouchers too xD

Only bad thing is it's a yearly thing and cost $25 to renew. Oh, and the cutting is like Caucasian cutting, so that means the cups are reaaaaaalllllly big. But the ones we bought were Asian cutting though xD

By the way, don't have to rush down to La Senza for the sales, cos it has ended. Today was the last day.. LUCKY US.

Can you imagine, spending $75 just for 3 bras???????????????

If I bought other brands, I can get 1 bra + bra straps (maybe) at $75.

HAHA. Cheap cheap deal.

I went "EEEEEEEEEE..." cos I thought it was made up with dried up wet tissue, which is pretty disgusting. I was told it's blu-tack. And it looks so stupidly funny xD

Jay Chou's 2007 World Tour Concert in Singapore was out for sale on Monday!

Reached office a little early on Monday but guessed what? I had so much difficulty accessing Sistic website! The priority sale of Jay Chou's concert tickets must have attracted fans who had been waiting for his next concert since 2004.

I kept refreshing the website and even if the concert details page did load, I can't load the buy tickets page!

Worst thing was, when the buy ticket page finally loaded, I realised there was no Submit button. Oh great.

Then I finally see the submit button at around 9.30 and it took another ages to load the confirm tickets page.

I got pretty good seats - row 12! HOORAY~

Thanks to Jiexiang, Janice and Khim Yong for loaning their OCBC cards to me.. :)

Finally pre-ordered Jay Chou's new album today! I've been anticipating it since 12th October (it's the pre-order date in Taiwan) and then HMV said the tentative date would be 19th October and then last week I heard on radio that Sony BMG had delayed it to 23rd! -_-;

What a long wait.

And I want that WANTED poster I saw at CD-rama can.. the one I posted previously as a promotional poster for his new album.

Gosh. Can't wait for it to be out on 2nd November.

I ordered Ham & Bacon Penne and we totally love it! The "pink sauce" is made up of tomato and cheese (LOVE!) and the two of them kept eating my pasta!~

Chen waited so longgggg for her meatballs spaghetti to be served..

Each of us ordered one slice of cake each. Not bad.. but my favourite is still:



CHOCOLATE SOUFFLE! (pronounced as su-f-lay not sou-ffle =X)

When I saw the description of Chocolate Souffle in the menu, I went like "I MUST ORDER THIS."

Indeed, it's not a disappointment!!

It's LOVE can, taste 50% similiar to brownie but 200% much nicer!!!!

It's soft and chewy and cos it's hot out of the oven, it's warm and cold together with the taste of ice-cream!

Don't know how to describe lah but trust me, it's LOVE!

Settlers last Saturday to celebrate Mike's birthday!

Played nice games:



First Hand: A game where the host opens a card and everyone has to follow the action on the card. Slowest person shall get the card.

Objective of the game is to get the least number of cards!

I'm so slow =/



Snorta: Each player is to choose an animal randomly from the bag and have to make a unique sound for the animal chosen. Cards are divided among the players and each player have to open a card (all cards faced down) one by one. Once two of the same cards are on the table, both players with the same cards have to mimick the sound of the other player's animal! Oh and the gist of the game is, we get to hide our animals in their house :) Objective is to get as many cards as possible.



Cute animals.



Walk the Dogs: Objective is to form the longest line of dogs of different breeds and scoring as much points as possible.

I love Set the most though, cos that one requires a little bit of brain power. Will go back and play Set again!

Celebrated Peng's birthday last Sunday with Amigas.



We went to Golden Mile Tower to have dinner! Each dish is priced at the unbelievably cheap $4.80! NETT price somemore!

I know I should have taken photos when all the dishes arrive but oh well.....

We had:
1) 3 bowls of shark's fin
2) spare rib king
3) crispy chicken
4) prawns coated with oat
5) drunken prawns
6) kangkong delight
7) Hong Kong style steamed fish from Taliba
8) crab meat omelet
9) claypot toufu
10) 6 bowls of rice
11) free flow warm chrysanthemum tea

It all amounts to $70+ only!

Such a cheap deal!

I was expecting the steamed fish to be like one small part of the fish but hell no! It was one whole fish like for six people can!!

Though there are only five prawns for the prawns dishes but the prawns are HUGE.

We did not order any crab dishes though.

The shark's fin is also not bad :D

Ate till all of us were bloated then proceeded to Esplanade for Haagen Diaz fondue -__________-;



SUPER OVERPRICED CAN.

It tasted so-so and cost $39.90.

But we had vouchers so we went to eat it.

I shall end off with lovely drawings exhibited at the walkway from Esplanade to Citylink..





Drawn by two kids aged 10 and 14. I think they have great talents in art, don't you think so too?





Nonetheless, there's also cute drawings which looked more like kids' drawings.

I think I used to draw humans like that too. But I probably didn't have such fabulous colour sense when I was their age =/

Piano Keyboard

I want a piano keyboard.

Okay, I know want is just a luxury but if I'm a little more fortunate, and exposed to this thing called Piano when I was younger, I probably would have asked my parents to allow me to learn piano.

Girls play piano very elegant know.

So I looked up Yamaha.

I want this!

I'm saving up for my Taiwan trip end of this year. Haven't been saving much since I started work five months ago either (unless I include the piggybank that's sitting in JX's house)

There's other models which are at $100 and $200 cheaper respectively (this and this) but I like because of the two way speaker system. I supposed I can use earphones? Specifications for the other two aren't very detailed too =/

Now, who want buy for me?

Maybe I can just wait for money to drop from the sky.

Reason why I want to buy Piano Keyboard is this.



Secret piano score!!

I will self-learn piano pieces once I get the piano keyboard. Determination! Maybe half a year after I get (or someone buys for me) the keyboard, I can play tunes and sing for you!!
