I'm in love with Victoria's Secret.
In love with their Secret Garden collection. (so sweet-smelling, so moisturizing, so feminine)
In love with their 5 for USD25 panties. (so funky, so soft, so cute!)
I WANT TO GO U.S. AND COMB THEIR STOREEEEE....

Lost Times (Part One)
I decided to have an impromptu mini spring clean of my room as I wanted to throw out things I wouldn't bear to throw in the past. (I'm a person who loves to keep any memento that is worth keeping)
I threw out half a bag of stuff; stuff including clothes tags which I used to keep but I figured it's not of any rememberance as it just showed the brand of clothings I used to wear and amount of money I spent on a clothes. I threw out old and dirty decorative keychains/handphone straps. (but I'm still left with a bunch of it) I threw out meaningless documents, warranty cards that have expired or that I do not own that handset anymore etc etc.
I recovered a bunch of cards I received during my Secondary School years, and a few that were received in Poly.Cards I forgot I ever received, and I supposed the senders forgot they ever sent/given out.
The amount I received during these two period of my life carries a huge difference. This just showed that during my Secondary School years, handwritten or handmade cards were still very popular, until all these traditional way of expressing love has been overtaken by virtual cards; ecards that you could only see it online, and not a physical thing which you could keep and still look back in time.
I wished everything hadn't been taking over by the virtual world. As much as how internet has made things easy, it took away alot of things too. Do you prefer receiving physical cards or ecards? Do you prefer to stay in contact with friends through means of msn or by meeting up?
I'm bad at keeping close friends. Friends whom I'm close with during my Secondary School years are now casual friend whom I don't really talk to anymore. It's how funny friends can become almost like strangers.
I will take some time to scan and upload the cards I've ever received soon :)

Smoked!
On Monday morning, I walked through the main entrance to my office. Oh gosh, it reeks of smoke! Initially I thought it was due to the massive smoke produced by smokers as most of time smokes near the main entrance, but oh dear god, I was wrong.
What produced the smoke? Some company actually burn incense (or whatsoever) in their office! Can you believe it?! The corridor from the main entrance leading to various companies is cooled by air-conditioner everyday!
I supposed it's the Indian company because I saw some flower string thingy hung up on their door. (I'm sorry I'm ignorant about any Indian festivals) but it's just so inconsiderate!
Till today, the corridor still reeks of smoke. We could have died from Day one due to the massive air pollution!

I quarrelled with my mum yesterday, over a minor matter, you'd say. It all started when she told me my elder sister, who is currently in Shanghai for a business trip, got robbed during her stay there.
Her digital camera, wallet, handphone and other misc. stuff in her handbag (I assume) were gone.
My mum asked which digital camera my sister brought over (perhaps cos I didn't have much reaction about the robbery) and asked if it's her new and expensive one. I say should be lor, what else.
She said "She should have brought your cheap and old digital camera so she wouldn't lose such an expensive one!"
.........................
I flared up and said "WHAT CHEAP? IT COST ME $400 OKAY!?!!!!!!!"
I was more angry with the fact that she'd rather my sister got robbed of my digital camera then got robbed of her newer and more expensive digital camera. I mean, if you're holding your sibling/friend's stuff, the least you want things to happen is a robbery right??
Furthermore I had bought it with my hard-saved money. If I'm not wrong, I was 16 at that time when I bought, haven't even started working. It contains memories (as I borrowed it for my Japan trip) and most importantly, it's my hard-saved money lah.
So mum started scolding on top of her voice, trying to change topic saying she is just concerned about my sister who is away in other country and hasn't called back yet yada yada yada yada.
I was irritated by her and said "FINE, DON'T TELL ME ABOUT HER STUFF, I'M NOT INTERESTED"
Then she started holler back saying I'm heartless, and say I can disown my sister (OH GOD, can you imagine how she always try to make things worst?) blablabla.
"Have you thought about my feelings when you said she should bring my cheap and old digital camera and that camera should be robbed instead?"
There was a cold hard silence after that.
And like always, she started to change topic and say how heartless, how I should disown my sister, how she is just concerned about my sister etc. and I plucked in my in-ear earphones and watch Prison Break.

People say we'd be the shadow of our parents when we grow up.
No, I don't want to be like that. If I think I will be a shadow of my mum when I grow up, I'd rather not give birth no matter how much I love kids.

千山万水
Jay Chou composed a song for Beijing Olympics 2008! I hope his song got selected :)

It's been a good week
1) Boyfriend found a part time job! Horray!
2) Met up with Wendy on Wednesday and dine in at her Sir's restaurant (Bistro One Zero Three). Her treat!
3) Food is still amazing nice and I had my first beef meal there! I ordered Beef Stragonoff (correct spelling?) and it tastes delicious! Had been wanting to eat that ever since I tried it during Wenna's birthday.
4) I think I should bring boyfriend there soon because the restaurant might be closing down! No no, not because business' not good, but rather, business' too good for one chef to handle.
5) I finally get to do a mockup for a website! Okay, I've been doing website maintanence and I felt I'm getting rusty.
6) Meeting boyfriend tonight! Though I know he'd be wow-ing for a few hours straight.
7) Janice is gonna know her baby's gender next week! :)
8) Boyfriend's sister is gonna give birth any day this month!
9) I received CPF letter of repayment for the amount I borrowed from my brother for studies. Who can lend me $1.5k and I'll repay you $250 every month?
10) My 19-year-old cousin is getting married. Shotgun that is. I wonder why my cousins are all getting married at a young age. Another 19-year-old cousin married last year. Nope, not shotgun.
11) When's my turn to get married? I hope by age 25!
12) I've got nothing to say already. TATA.

Overdued
Wenna complaint about the lack of photos in my blog and I supposed that's the reason why no one tags anymore. I also start to think my blog has become boring because of work which ties me down 9-6 from monday to friday and weekends are usually reserved for boyfriend and friends, so I hardly have time to blog because I watch dramas during my free time, hurhur.
Alot of overdued photos, please bear with me.
*
The really huge Kung Fu Dunk mounted poster which
Catharine got it for me :)
*
Went to One Degree 15 at Sentosa Cove last weekend for buffet lunch with boyfriend and family.
Nice ambience over there and I certainly would love to try dining out in the swimming pool in future!
Food is good and very very fresh but what I found special is their coffee and tea!
As you can see, they provided us sugar all crystallized on a stick which also functions as a stirrer and they actually don't use common sugar for both tea and coffee; they used white sugar for tea and brown sugar for coffee. Only managed to take photo of boyfriend's tea because I had already stirred the entire brown sugar in my coffee by then, heh.
*
Birthday cake for Catharine. LOL.
Birthday girl :)
*
I've learnt how to solve a rubix cube!
And love making different combinations out of it!
*
Valentine's Day present from boyfriend. He knows I wanted a white strap watch, vintage looking kind with "bling bling" diamonds/crystals! Love it <3
*
My colleague, Rosalind did a collage of photos she took with us individually which was supposed to be a farewell present before she leave the company, but she's decided to stay, HORRAY!
Cute mini "masak masak" set she bought for us :)
*
Lady boss aka Janice bought us this during her trip to Hong Kong! It's by far the most authentic looking CJ7 I've ever come across.
*
My female colleagues and I.
*
During Jay Chou concert!
*
Samples from Origins given by Shun Wei. I love samples, because you get to try it without buying it and then realising it doesn't really suit your face!
Dirt cheap body scrub like what, $2.50 per tub!!!!!!
*
New Dell laptop which is comparable to Macbook Air in terms of dimensions!
WOW SO SLIM!
This is what you get when you open the lid..
The back of the laptop.
OMG, that's (literally) a notebook (pun intended) ???
SO COOL! I want one too!
*
I drew that using Macromedia Flash :)

:DD
That's all folks!
P.S. Reason why I'm still here at this time is because I drank hot Mocha earlier on and now I can't get to sleep.
