You probably don't understand..

It's not only about spending weekends alone..
It's about being somewhere that's not my home alone..

It's been almost 3 years, you should know the kind of activities I have,
Who I always hang out with.. What I usually do on weekends..
It's not I do not know how to find things to do on weekends,
it's because even if I stay at home during weekends, I will probably stay at home..

Waiting is not a big deal, but having to wait for 11 hours a day, 22 hours a weekend,
it accumulates to 1,144 hours a year, equivalent to almost 48 days, and that's more than 1.5 months.
And I haven't even count in Public Holidays.

I hope you can understand that it is not an easy decision to make.

If I already said okay, don't rub it in by telling others and make it worst when the others don't find it such a big deal..

Guys will never understand this. Try asking your female friends and see what they say.

The One about Health

Brother, I really miss you..
I hope you're doing good wherever you are..

To those who still reads my blog, a piece of a two cents advice here:

Take your time to at least visit your relative/friend who is sick in the hospital no matter how busy you are.. because lost time can never be found again..

Don't wait till someone has passed then you regret for not paying him/her a visit when they were still alive. Do not think that I'm not cursing anyone who's hospitalized to die, it's just a piece of thought I have right now..

When I heard a friend's friend's father who's been diagnosed with cancer, to be honest, I wasn't at all that sad. It's not because I do not know him personally, nor was it because I'm being this heartless freak, but really, think about it, at least he has been through the bigger parts of life.. marrying the one he love.. family planning with his wife.. watching his kids grow up.. Whereas somewhere in this world, there could be a young person, who's life has just started, battling with cancer..

To end off this random entry, I hope people who have been diagnosed with cancer stay strong and believe in the will to live. Live life to the fullest!

Resolution 2009 achieved!

Remember the resolution I made this year?

I DID IT! First attempt! I know I did not do very well (18 demerit points) but I did pass okay!

I almost hit a car in the circuit! Not that I'm proud of it, but I think I'm being blessed.. by my brother.. I did very well in circuit, only to realise I did not change to gear 1 upon moving out of BBDC! Well, I was waiting for my turn to move out of BBDC so I should change to gear 1 but I only realised it when I'm out of BBDC and wanted to gear up, oh gosh, stupid mistake, 4 demerit points for that.

I got a combo though, veer off course + fail to keep in lane during a bend = 10 demerit points! The rest is mostly fail to check mirror.....

My tester looked very strict and fierce but at least he wasn't how my instructor had warned me about; will not tell us when they want us to do parking in circuit, we have to know it immediately. But my instructor was right about if the tester didn't tell me to turn left or right, I should go straight. The tester did warn me that though.

Nowadays everything is getting more and more high-tech. During Jiexiang's time when he was taking driving lessons, basic/advanced theory test were all done using OTAS sheet with a 2B pencil! Now they have touch screen monitors and even 3D models as traffic police and 3D animation in our basic/advanced theory test!

Even for practical, it used to be just paper checklist and a pen/pencil to mark down the mistakes of the student, but now they actually have a touch screen monitor with a stylus to mark down mistakes! On the screen, it shows the route map and the tester will use his stylus to point the part of the route where mistakes were made and make a note of it! Every single mistake is taken into account. *sweat*

But nonetheless, I'm a Class 3 driving license holder now! HAPPY!!!

The One about Concert Band!

What are the odds of meeting a friend whom you haven't met in at least four years?
What are the odds of meeting that friend when you're together with another friend who knows that friend too?
What are the odds of not meeting that friend via random shopping in a random shopping mall but rather via McDelivery and that friend was the delivery man?

Bumped into Alfa while at Wendy's crib today! It was such a coincidence! He had became chubbier and still as funny and cheeky ever.. Still remember the old times in band..

Well Wendy lent me her 3rd Gen IPod Nano as she already had her IPod Touch, and she really has alot of band songs which I'm going through it now.. really miss the good old days!!!!!!!!!!!!

This entry is really random, just wanted to blog!

The One about the Room

I was doing a little cleaning of my room (actually just throwing rubbish that I don't need) and found alot of things I do not bear throwing like:

- Collar badges from Secondary School or even Young Scientists Badges
- Overseas souveirs from friends
- Old watches that are worn or spoilt
- Old pouches/pencil cases
- Old gadgets which are worn or spoilt
- Beauty care items which I have no use for or not using anymore
- Plush toys, the ones that are not my favorites etc etc..

What do you do to any of the above items? Do you just dispose them or keep them aside?

The only thing I've finally determined not to 'collect' anymore are movie ticket stubs, but other than that I do still keep concert ticket stubs, admission tickets (especially those overseas) and airplane tickets..

The One about Choices

If you've been catching up with me via Twitter or FaceBook, you'd probably have seen me having this as my status:

Life is filled with choices we can make, not choices we cannot make.

I do not wish to explain why I came up with that sentence cos it's a long story, so you can probably ponder over that sentence.

The One about the Comeback

I'm back!

I've stopped updating Photo Du Jour for good, mostly because I do not have exciting photos to blog everyday, but I do miss blogging so I'm back!

I love simple and clean websites hence the neat layout. (Don't think it's easy to create this template, I took almost an hour!)

The One about Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

*Warning: Spoilers ahead!*

I’m utterly disappointed with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince!

1) They completely cut out the Dursley’s family in the movie.

2) WHERE THE FUNERAL WHEN DUMBLEDORE DIED?!

3) They removed Kreacher, Black’s family house elf, and I’m just gonna wait and see how they’re gonna introduce him back in Deathly Hallows as Kreacher plays an important role.

3) They burnt down The Burrow! WTF? The Burrow should have equal protection as Hogwarts because Harry’s in there!

4) Harry did not remain at the lower level of the clock tower and do NOTHING when Dumbledore is being threatened by Draco! In the book he was under an invisibility cloak and Dumbledore Petrified him, hence he was unable to do anything!

5) It wasn’t Bellatrix who wanted Snape to make the Unbreakable Vow but it was Narcissa herself!

...

If I could go on, the list stretches to no end! Let’s just say this is the worst movie of the entire series.

I hope Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows will not disappoint me!
