Surprises~

Everyone loves surprises :)

Have been clicking on links of my friends blog almost everyday to update myself about their life and it seems that Xueli's colleagues are so lucky!

At first I read about this colleague whose boyfriend send a bouquet of flower to her office and even a singer (with his guitar) who sang birthday song + 2 romantic love songs for her!

Then recently this colleague's boyfriend sent her a balloon and a bouquet of blue roses!

Is that a trend in their company? Or did the latter colleague went to tell her boyfriend about it and her boyfriend did the same?

LOL. But it's still sweet.. BLUE ROSES leh.

Mooncake festival is here.. Initially thought I could have someone special to spend with, maybe strolling at Chinese Garden (a.k.a 中国花园 not Chinese Garden MRT station), holding lantern but I strike off that thought thinking how far that is from his place.

Then thought I could play sparklers at his place but he fell sick!

Pleaseeeeeeeeeee get well soon :(

Stupid flu + cough please go away, you're not needed.

Spring Clean

Spring cleaning is so tiring.. especially when I have this habit of spring cleaning after I wake up. Then I'd get myself all so giddy and dehydrated in the midst of cleaning, not stopping until I'm done, and then I'd bathe and eat my lunch.

Well, that's the routine for today. Ate my lunch at around 4pm -_-;

I think I better make a list of what I should do every time so spring cleaning can be much easier for me.

  • I think I better throw all the old stuff away once I buy a new one; like handphone straps. I always end up having so much which I don't bear to throw in the end, like accumulating garbage :(
  • I should throw away used notebooks. Sometimes I don't bear to throw it away because it's part of memories :/
  • I should be more daring to throw my stuff away once I see no use for it, sometimes it's just so hard to throw things away..

P.S. Wenna said my blog is like a mum's blog already because my entries are more or less about Alanah -_-;

She's one smart kid

Jiexiang: *&%$^$#())(@%%*@&##$@&*( -> blabbering Tamil
Alanah: ??
Jiexiang: *(&$&#%($&#*%&(*&#$*(&@(*$&@
Alanah: ??
Jiexiang: ()&#()&*$)*@)%*($*#(%*(*#$)%
Alanah: &^#$(#$&%*&%(*#$%*(#$&%*(#$ -> imitates too

Tell me at which age are you able to differentiate between actual speaking and blabbering and starts to do the same? She's only 22 months old...

Alanah: *farts softly*
Alanah: Ah ma, I tell you something okay? Ahnana 放屁 (farted) ..

Jolin's boyfriend's niece is also 2 year old yet she's naively cute. Upon hearing Jolin on the phone instead of seeing her in person, she went like: why you keep her inside?! Let her out let her out!

But Alanah knows there's such thing call phone and she will barge into Jiexiang's room and say.. "Call ah yi jie jie.. call ah yi jie jie.."

So so smart........

Desserts

Secret Recipe was a huge disappointment :(

Gotta try Bakerzin after recommendations from Wenna and Wendy.

Craving for pastaaaaa~

ISFP

You Are An ISFP

The Artist

You are a gifted artist or musician (though your talents may be dormant right now). (LOL)
You enjoy spending your free time in nature, and you are good with animals and children.
Simply put, you enjoy beauty in all its forms and live for the simple pleasures in life.
Gentle, sensitive, and compassionate - you are good at recognizing people's unspoken needs.

In love, you are quiet and sweet yet very passionate. You love easily.
You have an underlying love for all living things, and it's easy for you to accept someone into your heart.

At work, you do best in an unconventional position. You express yourself well and can work with almost anyone.
You would make a good veterinarian, pediatrician, or composer.

How you see yourself: Sympathetic, kind, and communicative

When other people don't get you, they see you as: Incompetent, insecure, and overly sensitive

Hmm.. quite true to a certain extend.

Test adapted from Heri's blog.

Is so cute lor.

Anyway, the new dog, Bingo, the Beagle mix Jack Russell Terrier breed is a tikopek.

Why? Cos he keeps humping Billy. Apparently, Billy is a male Golden Retriever.

I've seen it with my own eyes and most of the family members too. Whether or not he really hump Billy's ass.. I don't know.. Can't really seee :/

A great monday morning

Early in the morning, I was greeted by this:

Mum: You didn't give your dad the handphone ear piece? That's why he had to take Ting's?
ME: I did. It's spoilt so he took hers.
Mum: Why didn't you open your new one?
ME: I did and I'm using it because I need it.
Mum: Ear piece so ex.. $40+++ one.
ME: Then don't buy lah..

A while later..

Mum: You should have given your dad the ear piece wad..
ME: (obviously irritated) I told you I did right! Just that it didn't work so he took Ting's what!
Mum: Why are you raising your voice at me! blablablballaa..........

It would have been better if she asked if I opened the new ear piece instead of asking WHY didn't I open and use it..

Then I was complaining to my younger sister and she said it's because Mum saw her talking on the phone without ear piece..

Furthermore when she asked her about it, my sister said it's okay because she don't talk for long..

.........

Just because she talks on the phone more frequently and you simply see her using the phone doesn't mean your other daughter don't talk on the phone at all.

Didn't you see me chatting on my phone before? You never asked why didn't I used ear piece.

Yah maybe I can be wrong about you showing favoritism but it hurts you so much to see your youngest daughter being harmed by those radiation emitted from the phone rather than your younger daughter.

Your daughter already said it doesn't matter yet you like to poke your nose into it and thus, irritating me as if it's all my fault for giving my dad my old phone and yet not passing him the ear piece that comes along with it and me not opening my new ear piece which comes along with my new phone.

I did all that: giving my dad the old phone; passing him the ear piece when he asked for it just that it didn't work and he found Ting's; opening my new ear piece because I know I need it because I do chat with my boyfriend on the phone.

You asked; I told you; yet you assume the wrong things.

Bistro One Zero Three

Suddenly got a craving for Popeye's..

Anyway, Wendy complained that I never blog about her beloved Sir's restaurant, so I'm gonna blog about it.

Last Friday, I met up with Wendy to go to Bistro One Zero Three located at Pasir Panjang. Atmosphere is nice but I think I expected more. HEHE.

Food is good! Very very big portion and considering that we ordered a calamari appetizer, two pastas, 1 brownie + a free in-house desert from her Sir, we only spent $40!

Portion is sooooo big we were complaining. But I like the calamari. The in-house desert (pana cota izzit? Don't know how to spell), very very nice.. sweet with a little bitter taste from the coffee/chocolate powder.. taste is just right. However, for first timers, it's very common that we'd just scoop the top part to eat (which is a layer of sweet chocolate), and find it too sweet. Must scoop the inner (cream huh?) also then it was taste perfect!

Wendy's Sir was very very funny and very chatty. Closing hour was supposed to be 9.30pm but extended because we were chatting with boss aka chef :P

BUT if you decide to go there, please order pastas instead of other main courses cos Wendy said only pastas are prepared by the chef himself.

The chef was teaching at Shatec formerly, so must go try!

No photos though.

Wenna Poon, next time we go eat with Chen Chen and Kai Ling?

Runaway

Yesterday I had a crazy idea of running away from home, running away from reality, running away from a familiar place to a totally unfamiliar area to start a new life.

I'd then abandon my phone, banish all contacts to me, perhaps travel with a fake name and just disappear from everyone I know..

That's a crazy idea but I know I won't be able to fulfill it. It sounds crazy but I had that urge to do so....
