what am i gonna talk about in this entry? its gonna be all about Jay.
first of all, i just came back from his concert! and it was totally AWESOME. nothing could describe my emotions when he came out to the stage. i was so touched and so happy. all those built up emotions just wanted to come out as tears.
perhaps it was the first time seeing him bah, and thats why i felt so excited and anxious. two hours passed quickly, but i enjoyed every moment. i joined in the screaming cos he's just so cool, cute, humorous, nice and friendly!
when the lights dimmed, all of us waited. some screaming our lungs out, shouting his name and waving their neon light sticks to join in the atmosphere. everything was so cool, so nice. and i just felt so happy.
and then it started with some video clips showing sponsors and stuff and then a thankful note. music were heard and the first song he sang was, sadly, the song i dislike alot. yes, Yi Fu Zhi Ming (In the Name of the Father).
the mtv showed were scary. a ghostly like female face was shown singing those horrible high notes which goes "ohhhhh" and stuff like that. what a beginning, i thought. and then when its time for the singing part. WOW! the curtains were drawn and Jay was pinned on a cross like statue! it was so cool and nice!
i melted and wanted to cry. so nice.
he started off with 3 rock song and then gave his introduction.
he said "fans in singapore, how are you? it feels so good to see all of you all and you guys have been so warm and friendly. are you guys happy?"
HAPPY! was the reply.we couldnt be much more happier.
there was this quotation in one of the video clips which is so cute and funny. it says "why must we always compare each other in media? compare, compare, compare. might as well i buy a pen for you!" well, in chinese its like "wei she mo ren zong shi yao bi. bi, bi, bi. wo qu shu dian mai zhi bi gei ni ah!"
so cute.
yes! he played bumble bee too. surprised?! he was trying to compete with one of the guys in Nan Quan Ma Ma.
and ive been very observant. i realised he wore a brown nike shoes, a jeans with patches that has got his face printed on, a pendant which sold out when i wanted to buy it, cowboy like shoes and loads more. i just love him till the end.i also bought a lot of his merchandise. not alot actually, but the most ive spent on at one shot. i bought a The One concert VCD with the doll for 12 bucks (the one ive been wanting and originally cost 70 bucks), a CD album with metal cover and a basketball jersey. it has got the word JAY and 18 on it. so nice. but the jersey's abit toooooo big for me.
its all worth it.
Jay tried to make us disappointed when he said "the last song im gonna sing is.. (i forgot the title)" all or us were moaning and when he finished singing and disappear in the dressing room, we keep yelling and shouting for his name.
i think that's what he likes best. we kept screaming our lungs out. and then a drummer came out and played some solo. and then gave us beat to slowly shout "ZHOU, JIE, LUN". Nan Quan Ma Ma came out and sing instead. all of us were utterly disappointed. but when another platform arise from beneath, guess what, Jay was playing the drum set! he was soooo cool!
he also surprised us by playing the di zi, a chinese orchestra flute.he's sooo damn talented i cant stand it.
i think Wenna might burst when she sees this. Jay sang one of his all time favorites when he was young. and the song title is Ai Wo Bie Zhou by Zhang Zheng Yue. the song is so sentimental and he sang it so nice. love him even more.
alot more to say but i just dont quite remember. one thing for sure i'll remember this concert for a life time.
