The Dinoshan Roars

Found two new loves in two weeks. Sighs, this means I'll be spending more money on entertainment..

The first new love is KBox.

Second new love is Settlers Cafe!



Well at least Settlers Cafe is cheaper than KBox and that eight hours of Settlers Cafe is equals to five hours of KBox.

So what is Settlers Cafe?

It's a cafe where you get to play board games! From ordinary to exotic ones! Those you ever hear before!

And it's such a cool place. I've never heard of it before also cos there's only two outlets in Singapore: one at Holland V and one at Clarke Quay.

Reuben had wanted to make me feel jealous by telling me the class is going there today but he failed! He didn't know my lessons end at one as well! :P

They had a little present exchange today sia! And Nadzirah got Jian Hao's present.

The contents were as follow:





Just in case you couldn't make up what are those and that my camera phone is bad, it's Kotex and condom. And I didn't know what Jian Hao was thinking when he bought those. Basically they're chocolates and marshmallows.

So I joined the 1M01s there. Not all were there, like nine of them bah.

There's student package on weekdays, only $6.60 sia. And you get free flow of drinks and main course at discounted price!

There's like tons of games I've never seen or heard before.

I was at the table with Reuben, Jian Hao, Jia Jin, Reuben's cousin and his cousin's friend. And I was the only girl at this table so it's quieter. Hohoho.

First game we played was Slamwich!

Fun but abit lame game. All we have to do is to show our cards one by one and find Slamwich, Double Decker and Stop Thief! And we have to collect as many cards as possible.

I remember there was this once when there was a Slamwich but nobody notice. And me, with my brain generating still quite slowly, went like "I think这个是Slamwich..", pointing at the cards with my right index finger.

Basically everyone started to move their heads closer to look at the deck of cards. Then everyone started to laugh very loudly, cos when I say that sentences, they look like a fool, stretching their necks just to look at the cards. Bleh~

Played other nice games too.

I liked two other games: Snorta! and Manga Manga.

For Snorta, we were all given a pet house and we have to choose a pet from the pouch without looking. When we all get a pet, we have to hide it in the pet house. Then we all have to make the sound of our pets, like if we get cat we have to "meow".

Like Slamwich, we have to show our cards one by one. If we see another person with the same cards, we have to "snatch", as in we have to imitate the sound of the other party's pet. So hard lor! And very funny, seeing everyone imitating animals. HEHE.

Then when we're bored of the game, we asked the crew to introduce us some games. I don't like strategy games, cos we have to think and that's so sian. The crew went like "What kinda games you want? Board games, card games or brainless games?"

Ding ding ding ding ding!

Asked for brainless games of cos. Wanted to see what are brainless games. He introduced Manga Manga!

Not very brainless leh. Needs to think also lor.

I was the winner. Everyone sian cos my reaction damn fast and I keep winning. Then Reuben said only brainless people win brainless games.
